3. Local Storage Usage (On-Device Only)
To deliver a smooth user experience across visits, True Scale Ruler utilizes your browser's native localStorage API. This data never leaves your device and consists solely of:

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or by clicking "Reset Calibration" within the calibration modal.
4. Progressive Web App (PWA) & Offline Caching
True Scale Ruler incorporates a Service Worker (sw.js) that caches static application assets (HTML, CSS, JS, SVG icons, and web fonts) locally on your device. This allows the ruler, protractor, and calipers to function 100% offline without an active internet connection. No tracking or telemetry is performed via the service worker.
5. Web Server Delivery & Hosting Logs
When you request pages from our website, standard web server access logs may temporarily record technical network information, including your IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, and request timestamps. These logs are maintained strictly for network security, DDoS prevention, and server performance diagnostics, and are periodically purged.
6. External Links & Third Parties
